Celebrate your membership in the MINI community with the 20th MINI Takes the States event. The first ride occurred in 2006 as a cross-country journey to commemorate the launch of the MINI GP and it continues biennially. MINI of Fort Myers is thrilled to announce a Florida route this year that will begin right here in Fort Myers! MINI enthusiasts can enjoy the fellowship of other MINI owners while exploring the countryside in their MINI vehicle.
Three Cross-Country Adventures, Including One That Begins in Fort Myers, FL
As a MINI owner, you enjoy exciting performance, incredible comfort, and iconic style from your MINI vehicle. Now you can travel through scenic areas while sharing experiences and stories about your vehicle with other MINI drivers. This year's MINI Takes the States occurrence consists of three long-weekend road trips in California, New York, and Florida. You can attend all three or just one if you'd like. It's your chance to experience the open road and share the camaraderie of fellow MINI fans.
Travel Across the State and Share Experiences with Other MINI Enthusiasts
The Florida event will begin on November 13th in Fort Myers and conclude on November 15th in Key West. Participants can enjoy a light breakfast, live music, and activities before setting out on a scenic drive through the state. Drive days are generally four to five hours with time for you to stop and explore along the way. Throngs of MINIs will be in the mix, and drivers will meet up each evening to share some refreshments and stories from the road.
You'll sweep across the state to Miami, then head south along the Overseas Highway and Seven Mile Bridge to Key West. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Tamiami Trail and Florida coastline before concluding with an evening event at the Key West Amphitheatre.
